Feudo Pollichino: The Cheesemaking Tradition of the Belìce Valley
Feudo Pollichino is a dairy specialized in the production of organic and PDO cheeses, using the milk of its own sheep of the Valle del Belìce breed, an ancient native breed of the area.
Feudo Pollichino’s production includes a wide range of cheeses, including:
- Vastedda della Valle del Belìce PDO, a semi-hard cheese made with raw sheep’s milk.
- Pecorino Siciliano PDO, a hard cheese made with raw sheep’s milk.
- Primo sale, a fresh semi-hard cheese made with raw sheep’s milk.
The sheep of Feudo Pollichino are raised in the traditional way, grazing on land owned by the company. The milk is milked daily and processed within a few hours of milking, to ensure the freshness and quality of the products.

The entire production takes place in compliance with the strict organic production standards, which guarantee the quality and safety of the products. Feudo Pollichino has participated in numerous national and international competitions, obtaining numerous awards for its cheeses.
